GAME WARDEN ALERT!

Just in case you didn't already know...
I was checked by the game warden this morning. He said we are not allowed to carry field tips in our quivers while hunting. I was given a warning, but thought I'd pass that info on.
Hunting was a waste of time today, think I'll go bird hunting this afternoon. I didn't see anything this morning. It's so darn hot! Do not see any colder temps coming till Wed. night.
Yesterday wasn't bad. I did see some bucks, but none were worth flinging an arrow at.

this is only an interpretaion of the written law! the law states that for hunting "deer" you have to have broadhead tipped arrows. it does not say that while hunting deer you can't be hunting other animals that are in legal season, squirrls, rabits, or whatever. a warning was given b/c a ticket would not stand up on court! just make sure that if you are checked and asked about it you know what else is in season that you can say you're carrying a field point to shoot.
anything that is explicitly forbiden has its own rule, like no firearms while bow hunting, or no lead shot while waterfowl hunting, there is no such law about carrying field points.
