Chase Bunyard - BBD

LAST WEEKS SHED HUNT

This is a pic of last weeks find. Went out on Wed and found five fresh and one matched set. Saturday, went out with Matt for 3 hours in the cold rain. Matt found four old sheds, and I scored an awesome skull and 3 older horns. We saw one buck with one side. I still think there are deers with horns, but there are some fresh sheds out there to be found.

SEASON'S END

As the season draws to an end, I sit wondering what to do with myself. I'm sure to drive my wife and children crazy as they re-adjust to my being home all of the time. It seems they have their own "deer season" routine and they too will have to adjust. Time to sit in the recliner and take a much needed rest. I will drag out the old hunting videos and study up, knowing that it will only send me into withdrawls. Rest assured, I am already contemplating my moves for next year...
Anyway, here is an elk pic from my mother in law to keep us all drooling in the off season.

BBD - Colby Simon

Colby took it down to the wire this year taking this buck December 30th. Bagged it one day before season was over! He shot this buck right at last light. This 10 pt came in with three other bucks. Talk about cutting it close! Colby called me today and said his co-worker had another buck come in the same night with both horns shed. Time to fire up the four wheeler and start hunting sheds.
